Flashback Friday | Temple Texas Maternity Photographer

Happy Friday! We made it through the work week! Yea!! Even though I work from home, I still get excited about Friday. Friday means I get 2 days where I don’t have to get up at 6am to get my kids ready for school. Friday means I get 2 days with my hubby at home! Friday means….football is coming! Ok maybe you don’t get excited about football. I love college football…especially my Buckeyes! I just get excited about Fridays!

We all know the popular #tbt (throwback Thursday) that is all over Facebook and Instagram, well today I’m making it Flashback Friday and sharing a session I did last summer. Summer 2014, I went back to Ohio to drop my kids off with their grandparents and I was able to meet up with a high school friend and take her maternity photos. Technically it was supposed to be a newborn session, but as you can see…he did not want to cooperate. 😉 I love seeing friends from high school being moms now. It’s so much fun to see how far we’ve come from those “glory days.” On top of having a good catch up chat, I got to photograph her at her parents house. A house I visited many times as a teen. I always enjoyed going there….and you’ll be able to tell in the photos….it’s just beautiful there. Being there made me miss that “country” feel of home. But now that I’m back in Texas….I get to enjoy some of that every day.
