Fresh 48, Welcome Baby L | Temple Texas Newborn Photographer

I really need more Fresh 48’s in my life! Out of all the sessions I do, I think Fresh 48’s are the sweetest and most relaxing sessions.

In case you didn’t know, a Fresh 48 is when a photographer comes to you during the first 48 hours of baby’s life. Most likely this would be at the hospital, but if you have a home birth or one of the lucky ones to get out fast, it would be in your home as well! Fresh 48 sessions are not posed and very relaxed. I try to focus on the newness of this beautiful tiny human that you just brought into the world! A Fresh 48 session is perfect for so many reasons! If you are military like I am, Fresh 48 is a great way to share brand new photos with your far away friends and family! If you have older children, this is a great way to capture the first meeting between their future best friend. Fresh 48 sessions are also great when you want to remember those first 48 hours too!

I’ve heard from a few of my clients, and I remember for my own children, the first couple days are almost a blur! You’re pregnant one day and then in a matter of hours, you have this new person that needs you every second! Sometimes it can be overwhelming and you might forget the first couple days. Having these photos is a great way to capture how amazing you are as a mother during the first few days! I mean, not everyone can go on little sleep and still take care of another life! 😉
